By downloading or using JunaTalk, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

The service

JunaTalk is an iOS app and website that helps you learn English through generated lessons and pronunciation feedback. We provide the service "as is" and reserve the right to change features at any time.

Your account

You need an Apple ID or Google account to use JunaTalk. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One person per account.

Subscription terms

• JunaTalk Premium is $9.99 USD per month, auto-renewing.
• Every new Apple ID receives one 30-day free trial. If you don't cancel before day 30, you'll be charged.
• Renewal occurs automatically until you cancel. Manage in iOS Settings → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Referrals

• Each user gets a personal invite code that can be shared freely.
• When a referred friend completes their first paid month, both users receive 30 days free credited to the next renewal.
• Lifetime cap: 12 successful referrals = 12 free months per user. After 12, additional successful referrals award the Ambassador badge with no further credit.
• Self-referrals (same Apple ID or device) are detected and rejected.
• We may suspend invite codes that show patterns of abuse.

Acceptable use

Don't try to reverse-engineer the service, scrape content, exceed reasonable usage, or share your account. Don't use JunaTalk for illegal purposes or to harass anyone.

Content ownership

Lesson content (vocabulary lists, phrases, roleplay scripts) is generated for your use. Your voice recordings are your own; we use them only to grade your pronunciation and then delete them.

Disclaimers

JunaTalk is a learning tool, not a substitute for a human teacher or certified language program. We don't guarantee that you'll achieve any particular level of fluency. Pronunciation grading is performed by automated systems and may occasionally be wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JunaTalk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Termination

You can stop using JunaTalk anytime. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice when reasonable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved in San Francisco County courts.
